    Zachary is three!

It's Zack's third birthday today, and he is happy! We had some presents for him right away in the morning, and more for tonight. We're doing a low-key family dinner (with cake, of course!) this evening.

We're actually combining the parties for Emily and Zack into one at the end of the month. They really like going to 3-2-1 Bounce, and so it makes the most sense ($$$) to combine. Emily has more friends since she's in school. Zack likes playing with her friends too.

Zack just finished his Dex medication which gives him mood swings. He's been a handful the past few days. That will wear off soon and he'll be back to balanced Zack.

Thanks to Drory for this Friday pick-me-up.

Bugatti Veyron: Worlds fastest production car

I'm back from Lisbon. Actually, I made it back on Thursday as planned. My photo album of the trip is here.

My friend Diane sent me the following video back in March, but I hadn't watched it. Now that I have, you really should. If you like speed, the Bugatti Veyron is for you.. given you have a road to drive it on. Watch and learn.

    Lisbon, Rio or San Francisco?

It turns out, Lisbon has a bridge that looks very similar to the Golden Gate, and a large statue of Jesus too. Who'd have figured? Not me. It's been an interesting trip so far. I've had lots of meetings, a little bit of sight-seeing. I've been kicked out of an office park for taking photos without a permit. I was solicited for sex while taking photos next to the restaurant our group was having dinner at. That was a bit different. At least NO means NO in Portuguese!

For all my Lisbon photos, visit my Flickr.com Lisbon photo set. What's next? I'm sure I'll have more to report tomorrow.. like how I'm going to get enough Euros to pay the airport tax so I can leave the country. (My cash card just expired.) Tina told me to take more US currency with. There's a lesson in this. Listen to the wife.

    Bem vindo a Lisboa

George welcomed me with a cup of joe (see right) as I arrived in Lisbon, Portugal. For the raw photo blog of my trip, visit the link below.

    Ik ben in Amsterdam

Well, actually just in Schiphol. My 5 hour layover on the way to Portugal isn't enough time to really get into Amsterdam.

I'm off to Lisbon on business for a week. I have three full day meetings and a day for arrival and departure travel. I am hoping to get a little bit of a chance to take in some sights. In the least, I'll get photos of the area surrounding the hotel we'll be at. :)

    Off to Minneapolis

I'm heading to Minneapolis with Tina and the kids this week. We booked some last minute travel to fly to Minneapolis on Tuesday and head back to Seattle on Sunday. Hopefully we can meet up with some friends and definately family while we're there. If you are there and have time to connect, give us a shout.
